DCDB (DC Distribution Board)

A DC Distribution Board (DCDB) is an electrical distribution panel specifically designed for the distribution of direct current (DC) power within a system. DCDBs are commonly used in applications such as solar power systems, telecommunications, battery storage systems, and other DC-powered installations.

The DCDB receives power from the primary DC source, which can be solar panels, batteries, or another DC power generation system.DCDBs include busbars or conductive bars for distributing DC power to various circuits within the system.Individual circuits within the DCDB are protected by circuit breakers or fuses. These devices prevent overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.
