ACDB (AC Distribution Board)

An AC Distribution Board (ACDB) is an electrical distribution panel that is used to distribute alternating current (AC) power within a building or facility. ACDBs are a crucial component of the electrical distribution system and are commonly found in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

The ACDB receives power from the main electrical supply, such as the electrical utility or a generator.ACDBs include busbars, which are conductive bars or strips used to distribute electrical power to various circuits within the building.

Individual circuits are protected by circuit breakers or MCBs, which provide overcurrent and short-circuit protection. These devices can be easily reset if a trip occurs.
